Other courses may be appropriate (e.g. those that primarily deal with material culture and/or applicable techniques [e.g., geochronology, ceramic design], senior thesis, independent studies, Internships, graduate-level courses, etc.) may be approved via petition. A Field School course is recommended for all students (e.g. ANT 4670 Field School in Archaeology) and ANT 4302 Archaeological Theory is recommended for students planning to apply to graduate programs.
