To declare a major in Finance, students must complete the requirements listed on the BBA Degree tab and attain a minimum grade of "C" in FIN 3310 Introduction to Corporate Finance and MTH 1321 Calculus I.
Requirements for a Major in Finance (BBA)
Students earning a major in Finance must complete the requirements for the BBA degree in addition to the coursework below:

Students completing a double Major in Finance and Accounting may waive ACC 3305 Intermediate Accounting I in the Finance major.

Students majoring in Finance may only utilize one of these three practicums towards the six-hour elective requirement: FIN 4285 Practicum in Small-Cap Investing I & FIN 4186 Practicum in Small-Cap Investing II; FIN 4315 Baylor Angel Network Practicum; or FIN 4381 Practicum in Portfolio Management.
Note: A student majoring in Finance may complete FIN 3101 Foundations in Finance Careers in place of BUS 3101 Career Management (Strategy & Success) for Undergraduate Students edited Course.
