BIC students will need to fulfill the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core requirements for the School of Education instead of these General Education requirements, with the exception of the Mathematics area (which also applies to BIC as listed here).

Second-semester proficiency is 1302 in most modern and classical languages at Baylor, or CSD 1306 American Sign Language II.

BIC students also complete the 6 hrs. of mathematics listed here.

Students who complete the Mathematics - Middle Grades concentration will fulfill one course of the Mathematics general education requirement (3 hrs.) through concentration courses (MTH 1320/MTH 1321).

Students who complete the Mathematics concentration will fulfill the Mathematics general education requirement (6 hrs.) through concentration courses (MTH 1321 and MTH 1322).

Students pursuing a Science concentration cannot use MTH 1301 but must take either MTH 1320 or MTH 1321 for this requirement.

Students who complete the Science concentration will fulfill the Natural Science general education requirement (8 hrs.) through concentration courses.

Students may also take PUBH 1145 Health and Human Behavior in place of one LF course.
