International Business is available as an additional major only and must be combined with another primary major in the School of Business. Refer to the BBA Degree tab for the requirements to declare majors in the School of Business.
Requirements for a Major in International Business (BBA)
Students earning a major in International Business must select another primary major and must complete the requirements for the BBA degree in addition to the coursework below:

Note: Study in a foreign language and a study-abroad experience are strongly recommended but not required.

Students may utilize one foreign language course (including American Sign Language) at the 2320-level (or equivalent) or higher completed at Baylor towards their 9 hrs. of restricted International Business major electives. Options include the following:
- CSD 2302 American Sign Language IV
- Any 2320 MLC course: ARB 2320, CHI 2320, FRE 2320, GER 2320, ITA 2320, JPN 2320, KOR 2320, POR 2320, RUS 2320, SPA 2320, SWA 2320.
- Any 2320 MLC equivalent course: FRE 2321 French for Health Professions, SPA 2304 Intermediate Spanish for Heritage Speakers, SPA 2321 Intermediate Spanish for Health Professions, SPA 2322 Spanish for Christian Ministry, SPA 2324 Spanish for Business
- Up to 3 hrs. of the following accelerated MLC courses (covering content of both 2310 and 2320 courses): GER 2412 Accelerated Intermediate German, SPA 2412 Accelerated Intermediate Spanish
- Other 3 hr. advanced courses (numbered higher than 2320-level or equivalent) taught in any modern foreign language (including ASL).
