Retention Requirements
Performance Standards for Flight Training
- Students who are unable to complete their first flight course in two semesters will be removed from the Aviation Sciences major – Professional Pilot Concentration (either Airplane or Helicopter) and be required to change majors.
- If a student cannot complete the Stage 1 Check in preparation for a solo flight by 35 total flight hours, the student will be removed from the Aviation Sciences major – Professional Pilot Concentration (either Airplane or Helicopter) and be required to change majors.
