Public Health - Secondary Major
Admission Requirements
Incoming freshmen may declare the Public Health Secondary Major upon admission to Baylor University.
Students who wish to add the Public Health Secondary Major may do so only at the end of a full semester after grades post. Students must have a cumulative 2.75 cumulative GPA to transfer, add, and retain the Public Health Secondary major.
Students whose cumulative GPA falls below the minimum requirement in any semester will be placed on probation for one semester. Students whose cumulative GPA falls below the required minimum for a second consecutive semester will be dismissed from the Public Health Secondary Major. Students will not be permitted to re-enter the Public Health Secondary Major once dismissed.
Current Public Health Secondary Major students who self-select to remove the secondary major during a semester (before grades post) in which their cumulative GPA falls below the minimum requirement for their concentration at the end of the semester, will be considered dismissed from the Public Health Secondary Major and not permitted to return.
