To earn a Major in Finance a student must attain a minimum grade of “B-” as the first grade earned in FIN 3310 Introduction to Corporate Finance.
Students must complete MTH 1321 Calculus I with a minimum grade of "C" to major in Finance.

Students completing a double Major in Finance and Accounting may waive ACC 3305 Intermediate Accounting I in the Finance major.

Students majoring in Finance may only utilize one of these three practicums towards the six-hour elective requirement: FIN 4285 Practicum in Small-Cap Investing I & FIN 4186 Practicum in Small-Cap Investing II; FIN 4315 Baylor Angel Network Practicum; or FIN 4381 Practicum in Portfolio Management.
Note: A student majoring in Finance may repeat an upper-level finance course only once, and will be permitted to repeat only two of the courses in the major in order to continue in the Finance major.
