Online Master of Business Administration Certificates

Graduate Program Director: Patsy Norman
Associate Dean for Graduate Business Programs: Patsy Norman

Overview

Master of Business Administration Certificates allow students to

  1. Improve their skills in their current occupation by developing expertise in advanced topics,
  2. Acquire knowledge to pursue careers, and
  3. Explore emerging fields before committing to the Master in Business Administration degree that requires more courses.

Each for-credit certificate contains four graduate courses (equivalent to 12 graduate credits) that are normally part of the curriculum for a 42-credit Master of Business Administration degree program and can be completed in as little as 6 months. Applicants must meet the same requirements for admission to the for-credit certificates as the Online MBA degree. After successful completion of a graduate certificate, students may decide to continue and complete the Online MBA degree. For OMBA alumni who may have completed a required course as part of their OMBA degree, another course will be approved to meet the 12-credit requirement for the certificate.
