Master of Science in Economics (MSEco)
Admission to our MS in Economics program is competitive. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required for admission, but an undergraduate major in economics is not required. Admission decisions are based on the applicant's undergraduate record, application essays, standardized examination scores, and letters of recommendation. In addition, before admission, applicants must have successfully completed the following undergraduate economics courses: intermediate microeconomics and intermediate macroeconomics (equivalent to ECO 3306 and 3307 at Baylor) or fifteen semester hours of economics. Applicants are also strongly advised to complete undergraduate courses in calculus and statistics before the course of study begins.
Requirements for a Master of Science in Economics
Students may earn the Master of Science in Economics by fulfilling the requirements of one of the two options detailed below:
