Accounting Data and Analytics Concentration - Taxation (MTA)
Admission Requirements
Students enrolled in the Master of Taxation program, including Accelerated Accounting (BBA) >> Taxation (MTax) students, can earn an optional concentration in Accounting Data and Analytics.
Requirements for a Concentration in Accounting Data and Analytics - Taxation (MTax)
The concentration courses count towards the total 33 hrs. required by the MTax and will contribute towards the student's count of Accounting Electives and/or Business Electives, depending on student course selection.

ACC 5312 Data and Analytics in Accounting or ACC 4312 Data and Analytics in Accounting Data and Analytics in Accounting must be taken prior to or concurrently with ACC 5350 Advanced Accounting Analytics Seminar in Auditing and Assurance Services.

Upon approval by the Director of Innovation in Accounting Data & Analytics, a student may substitute ACC 5395 Internship in Accounting for ACC 5350 Advanced Accounting Analytics. Approval will be based on review of a student's involvement in advanced data analytics projects during the internship. To document data and analytics projects during the internship, the student should follow the requirements established by the Director of Accounting Internships.
